The set includes a belt clip, a gripper clip, and, a push pin clip. The new clips snap securely onto the USB plug end of the shuffle. All three clips are packaged together, and are made of durable white ABS plastic, stainless steel and galvanized steel to match the appearance of the iPod shuffle. The set will be available in March for $30.

    Priced too High

IMHO, pricing seems too high - clips are nearly a third of the price of the shuffle itself.

    Jack Campbell, again?!?

mactable, macmice, reprise. Chances are he's either reselling these things at a huge markup or it's complete vaporware.

    Campbell

I spent 6 months worried that I'd get screwed if I bought one of the macmice products (the USB mic)... but finally went for it. It is beautiful and sounds 10 times better than every other USB mic I tried. I'm very happy with that product.

As for the clips, the fruit sells an armband for 30 bucks. These are 10 times more useful for the same price. If they came from the fruit, they'd be 30 bucks for each one.

    Re: campbell

Actually, if Campbell sold the armband, he'd charge $75. Those clips (if they actually exist yet), probably cost about far less than $30.

That USB mic you have was probably bought from another company at a fraction of the price you paid. Some of MacMice's products were found at $20 for 12 but MacMice was charging $12 each for them. I believe it was an iBook stand that was a repackaged book stand, but I could be mistaken.

I'm not saying the middleman isn't allowed to make a profit, but at that level you really gotta wonder.

    No Keychain Cap?

Okay this product seems like a waste of time. The least they could have done was include a Keychain cap with it. Then it'd sell like crazy no matter what price you put on it.

    Vaporware? Scam?

I'd feel a lot more comfortable if the website featured actual photos of the products instead of rendered images.

    Dropped price

Looks like everyone scoffed at the $30 price and it got dropped.

It should be at least $15 or under though, IMO.
