I don't know why, but I was shocked that more browsing traffic was on Linux than the Mac. I guess I am not geek enough to know anyone who uses Linux for the web instead of Windows or the Mac.

Measuring marketshare by web hits has to be one of the least reliable methods conceivable. If everyone else's copy of Internet Explorer behaves like Internet Explorer on my Windows machine, for every voluntary link I make there are five others generated by pop-up windows, pop-under windows, and who know what else. Windows and Internet Explorer get additional marketshare because browsers on other operating systems pretend to be Windows/IE for compatiblity reasons.
