istyle wraps for iPod

CreativeMind today announced a new line of accessories called "", which includes protective and colorful personalization options for the iPod and other Mac products. "istyle for iPod" is a full body wrap that protects the screen, scroll wheel, top, bottom, sides and corners; it is available in over 50 different eye catching designs, including clear, solid colors, quotes of wisdom, eye catching graphics, and specialty plastics. The company also announced a version for the iBook. The istyle vinyl plastic can withstand the heat of the iPod and will not melt, or change color for at least 6 months; it also provides basic moisture and water protection. Application of istyle accessories requires no adhesive and will not leave any sticky residue on the product once removed.

istyle for iPod features a single-sheet wrap around design that protects the screen, scroll wheel, top, bottom, sides and corners though still allows full access to all ports and docking accessories. The product compliments any existing case, and its color designs can be seen when used with white or clear rubber molded cases.



istyle will also be available for both 12- and 14-inch iBook models. It will feature a top and bottom istyle skin. The top unit will be available in clear, various colors similar to Apple's original iBook and iMac line, various eye-catching graphics, as well as quotes of wisdom. The company says the product was developed to protect the iBook and to give it individual style as well as provide more personalization options for users' laptops.




CreativeMind will also have the option for schools and companies to purchase the istyle line of accessories with custom graphics to display corporate logo's, company names, division's, or school departments. Personal orders to customize graphics will be available as well for an additional cost.



istyle products will be available on March 1st for the third- and fourth- generation iPod for $10 each; while the iBook version is planned for later release. Versions for the first- and second- generation iPod as well as the iPod Mini, iPod shuffle, G5 iMac and iMac Mini will be available based on customer demand. The istyle for iBook (top) will sell for $15, and a combo top case and lower portion will be available for an estimated price of $25. The company will launch a full online catalog of istyle designs on February 4th.
