Equilibrium debuts DeBabelizer Pro/Server 6

DeBabelizer Pro/Server 6

for Apple's Xserve. Delivering stand-alone automated media processing, Equilibrium DeBabelizer Pro 6 enables desktop designers to automatically import, edit, optimize and convert an unlimited number of images, animations and digital video files for optimal delivery in any format, including the Web, print, presentations, mobile devices, etc.

DeBabelizer Server offers Web client administration, work order management and progress reporting. Additionally, with the MediaRich Server, creative professionals can deliver processes dynamically to virtually any web server cache or multi-channel output device.



DeBabelizer Pro 6 also features scripting support for dynamic MediaRich/DeBabelizer Servers, support for Adobe Photoshop CS layers, integration with Mac OS X Tiger's new Automator feature, task automation, hot folders with conditional scripting/batch automation, color depth and palette optimization, and more. For larger workgroups, DeBabelizer Server can package original assets for processing on the server as well as deliver derivative assets to any off-line location via e-mail, ftp, and datacopy. It also offers hot folder "group" functions for 'drop, process and delivery' from any mounted folder to the server; browser-based administration; and SMS/email notifications.



Equilibrium MediaRich 3.5 automates image production and dynamic delivery of multi-channel digital assets through media templates as well as overlays text on an image for merchandising and localization. It can also build and deliver personalized online product experiences based on customer data or user profiles as well as provide pan/zoom functions by dynamically generating new images from a single source image.



Equilibrium MediaRich is now available, while Equilibrium DeBabelizer Pro/Server 6 for Mac OS X will ship in the first quarter of 2005. Along with the release of Mac OS X version 10.4 "Tiger" in the first half of 2005, the company will update DeBabelizer Pro 6 with support for Tiger's Automator, Dashboard and Core Image functionality; it will be offered it as a free download. DeBabelizer Pro 6 will ship for $400 for the stand-alone version.
