Multicam Lite for FCP

is now shipping "the first" multicamera editing solution for Apple's Final Cut Pro: Multicam Lite ($300) allows video editors to cut up to three cameras in realtime. The standalone Mac OS X application works in conjunction with Final Cut Pro (v4.1 and later) for the input and output of sequences via XML files. It features support for DV, DVCPRO25 or OfflineRT source clips and offers a comprehensive suite of trimming and camera swapping features. MultiCam produces an XML file, which can be imported back into FCP where all the cuts are automatically recreated and ready for further effects work or output. A free save-restricted demo is available.
