FileMaker Recruiter 2.0 offers new features

FileMaker Recruiter 2.0
, a ready-to-use application that helps professional recruiters easily manage searches, identify and track candidates, and communicate with clients and hiring managers. Version 2.0 features a complete re-design for FileMaker 7 (required), a new user-controlled multi-window environment, built-in security with predefined privilege sets, support for importing from email client address book, more powerful reporting functions, and quick view of outstanding actions. Upgrades are free, while the full version is $450. A special FileMaker 7 upgrade and Recruiter 2.0 bundle is $300.
FileMaker also touted several new FileMaker solutions expected to be introduced at Macworld Expo. The new FileMaker Pro 7 solutions include migration tools for transferring Microsoft Access for Windows data to FileMaker Pro 7 Mac OS X based databases to management solutions for firms within the creative professional industry. The company also said it was sponsoring the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), which runs May 19th-June 12: "the largest festival in the nation, has relied on FileMaker Pro database software for more than 8 years to help keep track of films, filmmakers, attendees, volunteers, events and venues."
