, available on a OEM-basis, enable simple, wireless, unified interface for control of home electronics, including UPnP/Rendezvous-enabled devices to select digital cameras, legacy IR-based consumer electronics, and everyday systems, such as lighting, security, and HVAC--regardless of whether they are IR-, Serial- or Z-Wave-based devices. Rendezvous uses open industry standard networking protocols and zero configuration technology to automatically discover computers, devices, and services on a home network. The full solution is expected later in 2005.
