Logitech previews Harmony 880 remote control at CES

Logitech Harmony 880


remote control offers navigation that simplifies the use of these new homeentertainment systems. The new Harmony 880 features a color LCD and finely sculpted buttons along with colorful icons (in addition to text) on the LCD screen to allow for quick and easy command of home entertainment equipment. The rechargeable remote features eight customizable buttons (four located on the left and right sides) and is easily configured via a USB connection to a PC. The setup leverages an large online database of home electronic devices, allowing users to easily modify or add new functinos for various home electronic devices. A single-charge lasts one-week under normal use, according to the company. It will be available in April for $250.
