FileMaker offers free training online video

FileMaker today announced the availability of a free and offers customers an easy way to learn FileMaker at their own pace. The training program provides step-by-step instructions, self-paced online tutorials and convenient accessibility through the user's web browser. In addition to accessing FileMaker Pro 7 training videos, participants will also have access to 250 training videos for many of today's leading software applications.

making it both easier and entertaining for customers to get the most out of
the most popular workgroup database in the industry," said Ryan Rosenberg,
vice president of marketing and services for FileMaker, Inc. "This is an
excellent opportunity to quickly tap into the richest features of the
FileMaker product family and turn the way an organization shares information
into a competitive advantage."
The FileMaker Online Video Training program is designed to help novice and experts get up and running quickly on the numerous core features of FileMaker Pro 7, while training on the new FileMaker Server 7 and FileMaker Server 7 Advanced videos are planned to be available later this winter. Topics covered include import/export/storing of data, sharing information with a workgroup, faster access to information using multiple windows, converting single- and multi-file solutions, web publishing, mobile device support, remote server administration, optimizing server performance, custom web solutions, etc.
The FileMaker Online Video Training promotional offer is available
immediately in the United States and Canada. Customers who purchase and
register new, upgrade and education versions of FileMaker Pro 7, FileMaker
Developer 7, FileMaker Server 7 or FileMaker Server 7 Advanced (boxed retail
versions only) between January 5, 2005 and March 25, 2005 are eligible for two
months of free video training. The offer is not valid for customers who only
purchase FileMaker Mobile or any of the FileMaker Applications.
The training program requires QuickTime 6 or higher as well as Mac OS X 10.2.8 to run FileMaker Pro 7.
