Apple wins favor over MS
The entertainment industry believes that Apple has better products than Microsoft, according to a recent survey. According to a recent survey by market research firm , half of TV and movie industry professionals say that piracy is a threat to their bottom lines, and 27% have already lost revenue due to the illegal theft or reproduction of their intellectual property. The survey of 1,806 respondents was conducted to better understand the entertainment community’s perceptions about emerging digital technologies and their impact on electronic entertainment. Respondents said that both Apple and Microsoft represent potential competitive threats to the entertainment business and opinions of which computer company had the best products currently on the market ran two-to-one in favor of Apple, but Microsoft is coming on strong.

no solution
As long as there are classical computers and tons of bandwdith there is no drm solution.
This is really scary. I was talking to a fellow engineer about microsoft drm. The guy: well if you change some of those registry entries to defeat the drm then your entire computer basically has to be reinstalled. Now imagine: lets say there is a virus out there that twidles that registry entry on purpose. Yep, your wntire windows pc is now totally disabled as can be done by microsoft!
Real ugly.
