Dual-format DVD Duplicator
today launched what it says is the "industry's first" dual-format 16x DVD Duplicator. The duplicator can create a 4.75GB single layer DVD in approximately 5 minutes and can also burn CDs at 48x, which the company says makes it the fastest on the market. The Kanguru 16X DVD Duplicator is compatible with multiple formats, including DVD+/–R, DVD+/-RW, CD-R and CD-RW. It allows users to duplicate DVDs and CDs as a standalone unit, or create master DVDs with a PC via the USB 2.0 connection. The duplicator features an easy-to-use LCD screen with Copy, Copy/Compare, Compare and Erase functions and is available in 1 ($500),3 ($1000),5($1500), or 7 ($1800) target models. The device includes PC and Mac authoring software for both DVD and CD authoring and duplication.
