    Another statistic..

Here's a statistic I would like to see. How many MP3 players will be returned in January, because "I wanted an iPod"? Given how hot the iPod is, how hard they can be to find right now, and cheaper alternatives, I bet that will account for a major percentage of non-iPod sales.

    agreed

the biggest reason competitors will sell this season is because parents couldn't find the real deal. in january creative will say they sold 2x as much this christmas season and conclude as a result that the ipod is a failure and is losing market share. yet they'll conveniently forget that half were returned to best buy the sunday after christmas.

Oh, that's so full of c***. Most people will wait until at least Monday to return them!
