LeadingProject: new software for project managers

CS Odessa LeadingProject

CS Odessa today released , a professional project manager tool that enables users to effectively manage multiple projects, share tasks and resources and create projects of unlimited size and length. It is designed as the first application in the company's line 'Leading' product, which company says are designed to facilitate the tasks of professional project managers and business leaders. LeadingProject helps visually plan and track progress of several concurrent projects, e.g. development projects or marketing campaigns; create detailed product schedule and effectively coordinate production and sales efforts. Itincludes tools for producing Gantt charts, calendars, and more. It is available for $250.

The company highlighted the product's the Workspace document feature, which lets users start several projects with a shared Global Resource List and allows them to embedd one project into another, preserving dependences and synchronizing changes. LeadingProject also includes toolset for quick and easy editing of Gantt charts; Set Up of a Project Calendar; and ability to start projects of any size and length.



For better communication of project data, the software offers extended data and file exchange opportunities, including support for MS Project XML that allows seamless communication with MS Project users. It also supports import of ConceptDraw MINDMAP Outline data and offers cross-platform compatibility for exchanging LeadingProject files across Windows and Macintosh platforms.
