Apple is continuing to strengthen its position in the digital music industry with a , according to The Associated Press. The agreement puts iTunes in forefront of the music industry's elite, and marks The Grammys first foray into the digital world: "In a sign of digital acquiescence for the music industry, organizers of the Grammy Awards are letting voting members hear nominated songs for free through the Apple iTunes Music Store. The Recording Academy will initially test the scheme with one category, yet to be chosen."
