    Wasn't that cold...

I was there on Saturday morning and it wasn't very cold. It was around 2-3 degrees C or 35-38 degrees F. The problem wasn't so much the cold but the on and off rain, combined with the massive crowds in the Regent/Oxford Circus area. IMHO those factors made the experience less than pleasant.

On another note Apple needs to work on their presentations. The one I attended at the opening was boring. Over half the crowd got up and walked away and other members of the audience appeared to be sleeping.

Outside of that it's a nice facility and the next time I'm in London I'll stop by the store.

    Brummyland

We're getting one coming to the Bull Ring in Birmingham! If ever there was going to be a reason for me to start parting with cash…! :o)

It will be fantastic to see and Apple Store in Brum. I am curious to know which unit at the Bullring they'll be taking. Any ideas yet?

If you are looking for reasons to part with your cash on Apple products in Birmingham though - you already have options! Obviously there is Micro Anvika in Selfridges, but there is also the AppleCentre at the back of the Pallisades. Not the best location in the world, but quite a nice set-up, if a little small. Helpful guys in there too. This shop stands suffer heavily when Apple arrives in town - so show them a bit of support now for bringing a bit of Apple to the city centre before anyone else (that I know of) ;)

    Brisk Saturday in London

Welllll, I was a bit chilly wandering up Regent Street. Seasonably cold, but raw due to the occasional rain. Silly me, I thought it would settle down in the early afternoon, but there was a HUGE queue around the building. Quite amazing for London. Heard plenty of American and Aussie accents in the crowd, though. Glad to see Apple getting its act together in the UK. I'm taking Thursday and Friday off (can't shake that Thankful feeling) - maybe I can squeeze in during the workday!

    That store...

That store is beautiful! What a great building they found to put it in.
