MacWireless today introduced its , a compact device that instantly enables any laptop to access an 802.11b wireless network. The WiFi device also incluides a 7.5-inch flex extension cable that can be raised as its own adjustable antenna. The 11b USB Stick works with Mac OS 9.0.4 up to 10.3.5 (Mac OS X 10.1 is not supported). It is available for $80. The 11b USB Adapter for desktops offers slightly higher output power for stronger wireless connections. It is available for $120. Both work with either Macintosh computers with a built-in or those with an added USB port.
