- TarMac 1.0 ($10) is a graphical front-end to the command-line gnutar utility on Mac OS X Panther. It allows you to open and browse the contents of a tar document as well as perform drag-and-drop extraction/archiving/modifcations . TarMac you can create folders in a tar document that don't exist in the Mac OS X file system as well as add new files, rename files, and encode Mac OS resource forks. [740KB]
