Actor Wil Wheaton to speak at Macworld San Francisco

IDG World Expo today announced that this January. "Wheaton will discuss his personal story, as well as the joys of Web design, HTML and blogging - as described in his critically-acclaimed book, 'Just a Geek.'" The presentation will take place on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 9:30 a.m., and will be followed by a book signing. Despite early stardom in the motion picture "Stand By Me," and his role as Wesley Crusher on "Star Trek: The Next Generation," Wheaton left Hollywood in pursuit of happiness on an extended hiatus to write full time. Macworld Conference & Expo runs January 10-14, 2005 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
