No early U2 iTunes release
U2 will the online release of the band's new album, following news that it has leaked onto the Internet, Macworld UK reports. "At present there is no plan to bring the album release date forward," representatives for the Irish rock band said. Last night, word spread that the new album--'How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb'--had begun appearing on Internet file-sharing networks, two weeks before it is due to go on sale. U2 had previously stated that they would consider releasing the album early on iTunes if it was spotted on peer-to-peer services before its official release. The album remains scheduled for a November 22 release.
