      Safari bug fix?

Does it fix the annoying Safari "two-try-page-loading" bug?

I had a kernel panic during the final stages of the update, and now when i restart the system shows 10.3.6 but i have no finder, no desktop items, no folders. HELP! What shoud l do? Running software update tells me i'm up to date. next step download the update manually and try to force it to run, but it might think it doesn't need to run. any suggestions please e-mail me at jlawrence10@mac.com.

      Placeholders

I noticed that Apple currently has only placeholder links for the standalone installers from their KBase page. I'll wait until they're resolved and then do the combo installer.

Open the terminal, go to the Receipts folder:

      cd /Library/Receipts

Look for your 10.3.6 pkg and delete it... You should see the update in your Software Update again.

      Re: 2-try page loading

This problem has to do with IPv6 network configurations and isn't limited to Safari. It happens on all Mac browsers and even some PC browsers. The problem (at least for the Mac OS) is in the BSD subsystem. Don't expect a fix for this until Tiger.
