World domination or nothing!
"If you take all the new countries, we expect to overtake iTunes very soon because we will have a larger user base to tap," a Microsoft spokesman said.
Apple seems to really understand what "simple" means. They know people want to discover new music, and browsing international stores can be one great way to do that. Making international stores easily accessible is something no other music store provides. I've just spent 45 minutes tying to figure out how to access these new MSN Music stores, but it's next to impossible!
Thank you for making iTunes so exceptional Apple. May the competition rest in pieces.
I'm puzzled.. If M$ can do it here in Denmark, why can't Apple???
It was even semi-announced, but then held back..
Going to their European shop which they bought and advertized as their "spreading in Europ" (cdon.com/finnish) there was nothing but possibility to by CD or DVDs. Couldn't lessen to the music and wasn't able to find a way to buy single tunes. I think it will take a while for them to make this rignt.
"in an attempt to fend off a recent expansion push by archrival Apple Computer's iTunes"
"Fend off"? as in "keep at bay"? iTunes!!!???
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
MSN's music store is but a mere blib on the screen. pff.

uh oh
Apple had better keep a-pace with launching new stores. We know about Canada, and there's wishywashy reports about Australia and Japan, but I don't see them having another Special Event for another couple of months anyway... plenty of time for MSN Music to get a foothold.
