    Where is the south stores

I completely understand that in the New England/New York area Apple sales account for 35-51% of all computers sold. And that in the west coast area Apple has similar sales.
One would think however that Apple would want to boost sales where sales are down. Particular in major metropolitan areas where there are major universities.
    There are no stores in:
    Louisiana
    Mississippi
    Alabama

While it is true that these areas are serviced by CompUSA I would think an Apple store in at least New Orleans or Jackson would make some sense.
Because of the universities in these cities there used to be as many as 5 or 6 independent resellers. Now there are none or only 1. Two at most.
If 6 resellers could sell PowerPc's during Apples dark years in these markets 7 years ago certainly Apple could sell though there own retailers in these markets.

And FireWire your right I think it is terrible that Canada seems to be getting the shaft from Apple.

    Californa

We need one more store in Los Angeles and it's coming (the one in the Century City Mall), and then you're right -- Apple needs to open up in new markets! Louisiana! Mississippi! Alabama!!! And more in Illinois and the midwest! Come on, Apple!
