Formac today announced its new , with improved feature specs at a lower price point. The new display comes in either 19.0-inch or 20.1-inch viewable screen models, incorporating Formac's 4th generation ColorProof VA TFT, The new TFT technology offers an improved brightness (up to 300 cd/m2), better contrast ratio (700:1) and faster pixel response (15ms). The company says that the new displays can be calibrated accurately for use in color-critical applications. Both displays are strictly digital and come with DVI or Apple Display Connector (ADC). The new LCD monitors are available for $600 (19-inch) and $900 (20.1-inch).
