Vara releases Videocue 1.0
Vara Software has released , a new application designed that combines a teleprompter with a webcam to deliver movies with custom narration. Announced at Apple Expo in early September, it offers an ultra-smooth teleprompter, integration with popular blog systems, slick 3D graphics with transitions and effects, over 20 built-in professional broadcast quality titles themes, the ability to publish a movie with a subtitle track overlayed on top of the video, GPU-based acceleration, extensive file support using QuickTime, AppleScript support, and the ability to integrate photos placed in the storyboard. It is $150 with a $50 off introductory offer available for a limited time. It runs on Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
