EA, iTunes deliver exclusives to The Urbz gamers

updated 11:40 am EDT, Wed October 13, 2004

The Urbz gets iTunes music

. "Not only will the band be characters in the game and provide nine tracks re-recorded completely in Simlish -- the game's quirky language -- but a special edition version of the game will include exclusive, never-released tracks from The Black Eyed Peas available via an iTunes download card." The band went back to the studio to completely re-record tracks specifically for the game. The first 700,000 units of The Urbz: Sims in the City will include a pre-paid, pre-loaded iTunes download card, which entitles consumers to receive three exclusive Black Eyed Peas songs, including a never-before released English song, an exclusive Simlish track, and two versions of their top hit, "Let's Get it Started" -- one in Simlish.

    Lets get Retarded

I like that one better. Why can't we get that instead of "Lets get It Started"?

    Sim

The Sims is one of the most overrated, overblown games I've played in a long, long time. "Hey, here's an idea, rather than get my own life, I'll just stare at my computer and watch made up lives and, when I get bored, I'll make them do stupid things!". woo. h***, those old Infocom text adventure games were 10 times more scintillating.

    But in real life..

its frowned upon when you start hitting on the neighbors wife the day after your wife catches on fire and dies...

Seriously the game is pretty fun in a sadistic sort of way, you just have to get creative. Like trying to get your wife involved in a relationship with the lady next door while your at work. Or maybe seeing how many of the neighbor women you can date at the same time without getting caught. In real life these things have consequences, in The Sims they are just funny.

Umm.., you can make that happen in the game? If so, mabye it's time I looked into this over hype game.

    Black Eyed Please.

Can those sims engage in drive-bys, have kids who don't know their fathers and use asinine phrases like "fo shizzle"? If not, I'm not touching it...
