. The desktop systems ship wth a matching color keyboard and mouse. The systems are available in 24 different colors or in a custom-color for an additional $100.



ColorWare also offers customers the option to send in their iPod, iBook G4, and PowerBook G4 for the custom coloring services. The cost for the coloring service is $50 for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations and $65 for the 4th generation iPod and iPod miini. The company charges $400 for the iBook G4 and PowerBook G4. (Prices do not include shipping)




ColorWare says its has been offering custom coloring services since 1999 to computer manufacturers and began selling custom-colored retail products in 2002 via its website. The process works on virtually any product and on any surface, including plastics and metal. The company is not an Authorized Apple Reseller, but offers it's own extended warranty services.
