Xinet at Graph Expo

Xinet announced it will release its application plug-in for Adobe InDesign CS as well as a Versioning plug-in for Adobe Photoshop, designed to help companies manage image-naming conventions. The WebNative digital asset management solution that gives immediate, secure 24/7 access to files, print hot folders and archives on the server via any Web browser. The WebNative Versioning plug-in for Photoshop (for Mac OS 9/X) assists in the enforcement of a company's current versioning policies by automatically creating new versions of files following a naming convention specified by the administrator.

"In real-world design and production, WebNative is the core to creating time-saving workflows, and now InDesign users can tap into WebNative's essential features," said Xinet CEO Scott Seebass. "The simple, intuitive preview interface allows remote and local users immediate access to InDesign documents and their components, which means fast job turnaround and higher productivity."

Additions to WebNative enable users to view and manage these file versions. The functionality of the plug-in allows users to take an older version of the file and designate it as the current working file, both from inside the plug-in and from inside WebNative. Xinet will demonstrate its products at Graph Expo 2004, which takes place at Chicago's McCormick Place South from October 10–13, 2004.
