    Let me guess

Another software update, another forced reboot.

More and more like windows everyday.

Oh yeah, so much like that spyware ridden, virus-prone cr*p.

Do you guys just wait for something bad to say? If there are problems, shouldn't they be fixed? Jeez.

    The big question...

...is whether this finally fixes the kernel panics caused by Java apps that do heavy networking (Azureus being a prime example). This bug has existed through 10.3 as far as I know, and is the only thing that I've ever seen bring OSX down repeatably.

C'mon, guys, let that be what they mean by "increased application stability"!

    Re: The big question...

That's odd, I've been running Azareus on 10.3.x and haven't seen any problems with it at all.

There are only two java apps I use much (Azareus and Megatrack) and both are noticeably faster launching after the update, but apart from that I haven't noticed anything substantially different.

    I second the big question

Two crashes in two days from Java apps doing networking. Dunno whether I want to have to test it tho...
