DataViz today announced , an update to its file conversion utility for the Mac. The sytem utility offers Mac-to-PC file translation, the ability to open unreadable email attachments, and easily move notes and info to Apple's iPod. Version 15 offers the ability to extract text from PDF files, a new graphic translator Photoshop folders, improvements to other graphic translators (BMP, JPG, PICT, TIFF), iPod support, StuffIt X decompression, updated translators (Word 2004, Excel 2004, WordPerfect 12 for Windows), and more. It is a $40 upgrade from any previous version and $80 for new purchases.
