FireWire 800 host adapters


WiebeTech today announced two new host adapters designed to provide FireWire 800 and FireWire 400 ports to any desktop or notebook computer as well as an RT5 FireWire 800 enclosure. The new host adapters feature two FireWire 800 and one FireWire 400 port: the is a high capacity storage device, offering five front accessible drive bays with trays (included), dual FireWire 800 ports, USB 2.0 connectivity, RAID 0/1/3/5 support via the front panel, and a flush-fit heavy duty handle. Pricing starts at $1700 (enclosure only).
