Don't quote me on this, but I was under the impression that AOL had a music store that predates most of the others. Remember a while back when Apple made it so that you could use your AOL account to log into iTunes, and purchased songs would be billed to the AOL account? Well back them Apple was carying music sessions that were recorded exclusively for AOL. I think it was called Music sessions at AOL.
Since when do you go to school to buy music. I don't think Students should be required to pay for anything so trivial, especially if they can't use it.
If Cornell requires this, it is clear their motivations of getting money supercede their motivation to provide an education.
AOL's music store is one of those MusicNet services.

AOL Music store?
Do they even have a Mac version? Did anyone even know there was an AOL music store? What the h***? Does everyone and their sister now have a music store?
I got a whopper yesterday (September) by my count, and it had a free music code , but no URL or no instructions on how to get it. Even the article had no link.
Oh well, whatever.
