The recent opening of Apple Store Osaka at end of last month came pretty close to matching the successful opening of the first store in Japan ( and suggests the likelihood of a "hub and spoke" strategy mixing large format flagships in key cities with the upcoming mini Apple Stores located in the region surrounding each flagship.
