Memorex today introduced a 2GB version of its . The company says the drive features read speeds of up to 25MB per second and write speeds of up to 20MB per second via USB 1.1/2.0 connectivity. It features a data protection switch that prevents accidental deletion of important data. "The TravelDrive features the slimmest profile among portable Flash drives and sports a unique silver and black design that fits right on a keychain. A soft-to-touch, thumb-sized, rubber grip area makes the TravelDrive ergonomic." the 2GB flash drive is expected to ship later this month for $300; it is also available in 128MB, 256MB, 512MB and 1GB capacities, with prices from $35 to $180.
