Olympus last week announced its new 4.0-megapixel digital camera, which will be available in in 6 designer colors. The Verve features a compact and durable all-metal, all-weather body with a sleek designer shape and will be available in Silver, Blue, Black, White, Red, and Copper. It offers a compact size (3.74" x 2.18" x 1.08") and a weight of just 3.7 ounces--the smallest Olympus digital camera introduced to date. It also offers 1.8-inch LCD, 16 selectable Scene Program Modes, in-camera editing effects (Soft Focus, Fish Eye, etc.), a QuickTime Movie Mode, USB 2.0 connectivity, a 2x optical zoom (and 4x digital zoom, and more. It will ship later this month for $350, including a 16MB xD-Picture Card, Wrist Strap, Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery and Charger, and both USB and AV cables.
