Prosoft Engineering has released , an easy-to-use software utility for recovering pictures from corrupt or reformatted media cards. The utility can also recover pictures that have simply been deleted from the media card. Version 1.1 now offers a thumbnail preview of all recoverable images; drag & drop-based recovery; 'Secure Card Erase' functions (with three different levels) to protect privacy and confidentiality; and improvements to reliability and performance. Picture Rescue 1.1 is available fo $60.
