    Great!

Now I can listen to the Republican lies over and over again! What, there is no ban on stem cell research? Bush is the president that championed and funded stem cell research originally? Compassionate conservatism? Freedom is sacred (unless you are g** or a woman). Yawn. Thumbs up to iTunes for spreading the word. Maybe it will lead to some actual discourse.

    Give it a rest...

    Really?

I never had intercourse with that girl...

    Buy a clue!

    Cool!

To riverfreak: if you'd rather listen to the democrats, their speeches are available, too.

As for me, I'm thrilled. I only caught part of the First Lady's speech last night, and now I've got the whole thing, and I can listen to it whenever I please. Thank you, Apple, for providing this service!

    Woohoo!

Alright, now the lies of the right to counter the lies of the left. If only the speeches actually were of any sort of substance to any of these conventions. But as it is, its just canned speeches and soundbites for TV and the yak-yak-yak cable "news" networks, and venom spewing to rally the far left or or right of their party.

Of course I'm sure the debates (if there are any) will be the same sort of c***. God forbid we allow any sort of real discussion of the issues that face the country.

    Oh please.

The Right has as much freedom to espouse their drivel as the next group of exclusively-Fox-news-watching idiots.

Yeah, listen to the lying sacks of s*** spew their preposterous mythologies... in stereo!

I can hardly wait to hear the heavily medicated Laura Bush and big d*** talk in circles with phony compassion.

    Apologies are due ...

There were some on this forum who claimed that the previously-available DNC speeches were a sign of Apple's left-leaning.

Apologies should be posted to this thread.

PS. The RNC con isn't over yet so I won't comment on any speeches except to say two things:

    1. That if they make the Bush Twins speech available, I AM GETTING THAT ONE. It was a classic.

    2. Every American -- particularly those planning to vote for Bush -- should listen to Barack Obama's DNC speech.

    another site?

Does anyone know of another place to download the speeches besides iTMS? I'm in Japan, and even tho the downloads are free, I still can't have them.

Not that I've downloaded them, but I would assume they were recorded in mono, not stereo. But who knows.

    heh.

it's funny how all those right-wingers who spouted conspiracies in pro-democrat apple when the Dem convention speeches were available suddenly don't seem to be saying much.

what? no acknowlegement that you were wrong? that you made a mistake? that you were too quick to judge? oh. yeah, I forgot. You're Bush supporters, so those concepts are alient to you.
