Xerox has announced its , which it says one of the "most compact, lightest, and easiest to use digital projectors in its price category." The project weights 3.5 lbs, offers 1500 lumens brightness, and features 1024x768 (XGA) resolution. The Xerox DP 1015's Digital Light Processor (DLP) technology produces a contrast ratio of 900:1 and offers an entirely digital connection between the video source and the screen. The DP 1015 includes an omni-directional infrared receiver for the standard accessory remote control (with laser pointer) as welll as supports multiple inputs (DVI, 15-pin RGB, composite video and S-video). The $2,000 projector, available immediately, ships with cables and a carrying case.
