Newer Technology and Other World Computing today introduced the . Compatible with the PowerBook G3 FireWire (2000/"Pismo") and PowerBook G3 Lombard (1999/"Bronze Keyboard") models, it utilizes the latest Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) cell technology to offer a 7200mAh battery that provides 50 percent more capacity than the Apple stock battery, according to the company. The new NuPower "MaxCapacity" battery rounds out the line of additional NuPower replacement batteries for G3 and G4 PowerBooks, including the NuPower 6600mAh (now priced at $150) and 5400mAh (now priced at $140) batteries also available for Pismo and Lombard models. The new MaxCapacity battery is available for $160.
