@Last Software at SIGGRAPH will offer a preview of "", an enhanced version of its 3D sketch application for Mac OS X. The company says the new version extends its 3D design software for additional creative markets. SketchUp 4 Film & Screen will be shown in @Last's booth (No. 1158) and includes an enhanced Camera Tool, which enables the user to control aspect ratios and the exact position of a camera, and a library of pre-drawn filming specific components. SketchUp supports export of AVI and QuickTime files that can be imported into other multimedia programs such as Final Cut Pro. A preview release is available now.
