Too bad that the Apple music store is on such shaky ground, this might mean something...

    Where did they get this?

Funny but the Apple web site makes no mention of this milestone.

    Re: too bad

I just posted that on another page...

    Ars-technica said so:

What's more, they aren't even the current leader in the field, although they are one of the few who can legitimately claim to be in a position to knock Apple off its shaky perch. Maybe they're hoping to fund the company with all those university deals?

See. Shaky ground! I can't imagine a web site making stuff up out of the air, so it must be true. (Unless someone knows something about the seismic activity under the iTMS, I think its obvious they're losing money, sales, etc, to the better offerings of Wal-mart, Buy.com, Napster, Sony, Virgin, etc, etc, etc.

    Shaky?

Maybe it's shaky, because they are way up on the top. And I think it is obvious, that they don't lose sales to the worse offerings of their copycats.

What exactly is your problem with iTunes anyway?

    Re: testudo

Well, for one, it doesn't connect to all the free music available on the P2P networks, I have to BUY my music. What kind of c*** is that!

Second, when I do buy music, it doesn't keep me at all from buying crappy music. It'll let me buy c*** music just as it well let me buy good music. I mean, who knew the Backstreet Boys sucked as bad as they do. I should've been warned!

Third, not only doesn't the iTMS sell Radiohead, but I can't seem to get it to recognize any radiohead music at all. Its almost like they won't even allow Radiohead to be played (I did once try to sneak a RH song into iTunes, but it sounded like c***, which I'm assuming is iTunes fault, because I've only heard great things about radiohead).

Fourth, I saw on TV yesterday that John Kerry is lying about his military record and his first purple heart was garnered by getting a splinter or something, so now I'm completely disillusioned about politics in the US. Next thing you know, someone will be trying to bring down Bush on his heroic national guard service or something.

Fifth, well, the freakin' 10.3.5 update worked without issue, my iPod's battery still holds a charge, my iBook hasn't had a motherboard issue or started warping, etc, etc, etc, which means I couldn't complain about any of that, so something had to take the brunt of my pent-up whining!

(Oh, and now you'll all hate me because I shoved in a politcal thing in there, now its going to be 80 messages about how awful Bush and/or Kerry is....)

    So...

No real problem with iTMS at all? Last time I checked, iPods played P2P MP3s fine.

    Completely seriously....

Why doesn't iTMS carry any Radiohead releases?
