CMS Products is shipping the next generation of its portable backup and restore product line. The ABSplus features a two-and-a-half inch removable hard drive with 100 gigabytes of storage capacity and a three-year warranty. List price for the 100GB ABSplus is $420. The integrated BounceBack software creates a complete, fully bootable backup of a computer's entire hard drive once the ABSplus is connected. The ABSplus incorporates a QuickRestore module to further enhance its disaster recovery and backup capabilities. QuickRestore simplifies the data recovery process by allowing users to recover data as a result of hard drive failure or accidental deletion by simply clicking on the "Restore" button.
