Optibase to debut MPEG MovieMaker 200S for Macintosh

Optibase today , the annual conference for broadcasting technology which takes place in early September, to unveil its MPEG MovieMaker 200S for Macintosh, a new high-end MPEG 1 and MPEG 2 encoder that supports the Power Mac G5 and Mac OS X. "Designed for the creation of DVD, SVCD and VCD content, MPEG MovieMaker 200S for Macintosh complements DVD Studio Pro, Apple's DVD authoring software, as well as the other main SVCD/VCD authoring tools on the market." The company will also launch the MGW 1100, which enables small to medium-sized TV over IP or ATM broadcast services.
The MGW 1100 can be used by Telcos and service providers, for applications that include regional head-end or MDU (Multi Dwelling Units) TV streaming. MGW 1100 also addresses enterprises and organisations that want to deploy high-end video surveillance systems or hospitality solutions.
Optibase also announced it would showcase its recently announced Media 100 HD Version 10 software release, featuring 99 tracks of video, RGB/HSL colour
correction, an advanced keyer, and a software codec with full motion-alpha
channel support. Media 100 HD was first previewed at NAB in April and is
expected to ship in Q4 of 2004.
