iTunes Music Store for Denmark coming in October

Apple plans to unveil a in October, a few days ahead of Microsoft's expected launch of its own music download site, MSN Music. "Representatives for Apple Computers say that while they're aware of their arch competitor's plans, the brewing battle for online music fans in Denmark isn't intimidating to them. 'Our product is incredibly user-friendly, and our success on the online music market will be aided along by our music playback technology iPod,' said Apple Denmark product director Henrik Ryle."

    I wonder about Apple's Priorities though. They are setting up iTMS in a small country like Denmark (pop. 5,368,854 (July 2002 est.))
    But they haven't released iTMS in any larger markets like
    Canada 31,902,268 (July 2002 est.)
    Japan, 126,974,628 (July 2002 est.)
    South Korea, 48,598,175 (July 2004 est.)
    Australia. 20,159,838

    I know that Aussie record companies would be thrilled if iTunes where to come here, several have made public statements saying that they would welcome it with open arms.
