iTunes vs the rest!
If the player won't accept iTMS files, then it takes a huge hit against the iPod. As much as I'm annoyed that apple has tied iTMS to the iPod, I have to admit it makes sense for selling iPods vs some other player.
Past experience has taught me not to trust just one article in determining a product's specs. So i checked out 3 of their models on Creative's site... As far as looks and general specs are concerned, this looks to be the strongest WMA-based iPod competitor yet.

this product appears to be pretty well designed, at least compared to the other offerings. It still doesn't match up to the iPod (expect in battery time, which most other players handily beat the iPod anyway), but it looks pretty decent. If it plays mp3's, it will probably do well. If it doesn't play aac (iTMS), it won't do as well as it could. And wma will probably hurt its chances of succeeding.

Creative Zen Touch
As per the story, "10,000-song, 20-gigabyte Zen Touch".
So Creative joins Sony in touting 64kbps files. Unbelievable.
