I hope they don't use "Opentalk" that just doesn't hit the mark like "Rendezvous" does.
Why those folks @ Apple think that using French names is fancy?
Names linke rendezvous, expose, etc. are sickening.
Glad to see one will be gone.
Adieu!
sheesh.
Blame TIBCO.
Good riddance: what's the 'etc.'
Rendezvous= meeting. Networked devices (computer & printer) are "meeting" each other - on their own, I might add.
Exposé= past participle of 'exposer', which means 'to expose'= show off; display. What does exposé do? Show you all of your windows.
The use of these two words make sense, and are appropriate. Would you rather have Apple name the technology be called 'meet me' and 'show off', respectively?
Don't be ignorant.
Good riddance: what's the 'etc.' should read:
J-23: what's with the 'etc.'
Didn't someone file a suit about using the name Rendevous?
Yes, you moron. That's what this whole story is about.
I think I read somewhere about someone suing Apple over the name Rendezvous. Perhaps there will be a court settlement soon...
LOL!
