Duke University to give incoming freshman iPods

Duke distributes iPods


Apple today announced that this fall Duke University will give iPods to all incoming freshman, according to CBS.MarketWatch.com: "Duke will hand out approximately 1,800 iPods that will be pre-loaded with Duke-related content and will allow students to download supplementary university material in addition to being able to play music."

    Use the search at Duke

    Go to http://cit.duke.edu/about/ipod.do for info about their "iPod investigation." My guess is either Goggle hasn't crawled the announcement or they haven't placed it on the Web site yet. But the link above clealry shows that Duke was seriously looking into iPods and their academic usage.
