Kudos to Apple for providing this information free of charge. This is a move in the right direction to show that the iTMS is about more than just music. It's a very powerful media delivery system.

I've actually listened to the last 3 days of the testimony, especially where they recreate teh events of the 9/11 and it's all very interesting. It's not nonsense and it's not self-righteous senators spewing blame. Please listen to it before you make your broad sweeping generalizations next time.

Only in this fine land of ours will people complain when something that they're not interested in is free for other people to use.

You might feel a little differently about these hearings if you watched 3000 people in your hometown get murdered on your way to work one morning.

Frankly, I would hope that whichever party was in power at the time of such an incedent, where would be a serious investigation. If Kerry wins and there is another attack, you can bet your butt what I will be asking questions and looking for accountability in that administration. We often forget, these are people running the administration, and they need to be held accountable to their jobs regardless of which party they represent.

It is the constitutional duty of the congress to find out. The 9/11 commission is bipartisan and is there to figure out what happened. What can possibley be wrong with that?

Exactly. And people who think that the government actually has the people's best interests at heart, are very sadly naive.

As bad as the PATRIOT Act is, things could be a whole lot worse. We are not yet living in a country where people are terrified of accidentally insulting the President's choice of necktie because that could lead to them disappearing one night. That we are not yet in such a state is because we keep fighting to try and overturn such unconstitutional laws that attack the rights of citizens in the name of "security".

Not *yet*, but getting there. What about Tom Treece? A.J. Brown? If you don't know who they are, Google them and find out what kind of stuff is happening because of the USA PATRIOT (caps - it's an acronym) Act.

People in this country need to wake up. "Freedom" and "liberty" are being used as political footballs to get the populus to be happy with the government taking away our rights. Maybe it's better here then in other countries, I don't know. What I do know is that people need to stop believing that the US is somehow uncorruptable because we have "democracy". The government here is just as f**ked up as in other countries (maybe more so), but people too often don't want to believe it. It's that belief that worries me far more then what the government is or is not actually doing.

Sorry for the political tangent. I think it's great that at least apple is letting people get informed. It's better then nothing.
