Apple sales breakdown
Apple said it shipped 472,000 Macs in the US, a 4% increase from the year-ago quarter. In Europe, the company saw the largest jump in unit sales, shipping just over 191,000 Macs, an increase of 33% from the year-ago quarter. Its retail segment shipped 73,00 Macs, a jump of almost 83% from the period last year. Apple shipped 82,000 Macs in Japan. Apple saw the largest increases in unit shipments of its PowerBooks and Power Macs, shipping 220,000 (37% from year-ago quarter) and 173,000 (30% increase), respectively. Apple saw a small decline in iMac shipments with just over 243,000 shipped in the quarter, a decrease of 15% from the year-ago quarter.
Apple realized nearly $250 in revenue from iPod sales and $73 million in "other music products," which includes revenue from the iTunes Music Store and iPod-related accessories and services. Peripherals and other hardware accounted for nearly $220 million, while Apple saw almost $210 million from its Software & Other revenue.

While Intel warns of poor sales in the future. They went down 10.5% in the stock market and Apple went up 1.2%. Surely Apple will be declaring bankruptcy at any tick of the clock. Surely they're doomed when tiny little Apple is growing as the Wintel Gorilla is shrinking. They're doomed I tell you, DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!
