Harman Multimedia showcases JBL On Stage for iPods

JBL On Stage for iPods


At Macworld Expo Boston today, introduced the On Stage, a sound system for iPods. The circular On Stage features four speakers that produce six watts per channel, an integrated dock connector for third generation iPods and iPod minis, and a stereo mini jack connection for compatibility with iPods and other audio devices. The On Stage will sell for $200 when it ships later this year.

    Where can i find more info about these speakers? Nothing on Harman Kardon website.

    Companies really should have their sites ready to go for press releases/product introductions... alot of possible customers might lose intial interest before they get info up on their site.

    There's NOTHING on the Harmon-Kardon website on either the On Tour or On Stage speakers!

    Cool

    Considering that compact radios and mini boomboxes have a place in our lives, this is a cool option to have.

    Despite the docking and charging features, though, it better sound very good to be worth that price.

    And I HOPE it doesn't really need that line-out from the headphone jack. The dock connection ought to handle the audio--and at line level too.
