Integrity ships next month
Avail today announced that it would ship its backup and recovery software solution for Mac OS X in August. The solution enables Macintosh servers to manage the data protection requirements of a complete Macintosh environment as well as a heterogeneous network. It supports hard disk-based storage, single tape drives, autoloaders, and larger tape libraries with multiple tape drives as well as any combination of hardware, including integrated disk-to-disk-to-tape solutions (D2D2T) as well as either SCSI-, IDE-, and/or FireWire-based devices. Integrity includes the client modules that manage backup and restore functions, the server module, which enables a Mac to provide storage management services, and the managed replication and protected data migration utilities.
